Default PS3 External USB HDD format

What format and Directory file system should my USB HDD be formatted in, so that I am able to store Roms,Bins and ISO's on it to run on my CFW PS3 using Multiman or Retroarch. CHEERS

If you use NTFS you won't need to split any files.

I think FAT32 is suitable for you since it has stronger compatibility than NTFS, especially for hard disks of PS3, XBox one and XBox 360. For how to format/convert disk to FAT32, you can refer to https://www.aomeitech.com/partition-...at32-1234.html
