This is w/ the Visual Boy Advance Emulator. I was playing Pokemon Emerald & I was wanting to use the Battle Groudon & Kyogre codes> http://s11.zetaboards.com/Pokemon_Em...opic/177660/1/ & they didn't work on the VBA Emulator with cheats enabled. Plus I was wanting to use the MissingNo codes> https://www.supercheats.com/gameboya...eal-missingno/ on VBA Emulator & they didn't work either but they all worked on my actual Gameboy Advanced SP but not on the VBA Emulator. I wonder why.

So you clicked Cheats > Cheat list > Gameshark and input the codes. Did you remember to put in the (M)aster code first?

Not sure if VBA works like a real Gameshark, but if so you would want to enter your codes, then click Cheats > Automatic save/load cheats, then click File > Reset. Unlike some other devices Gameshark would need to load cheats on startup, but VBA might add codes directly into the game.

I think I have had problems with Master codes not working before too, so you might need to try to find Codebreaker/action replay codes.

Master Codes are normally not required by VBA from what I remember

I guess I would need to test those codes myself though to be sure there is an issue or a user error

    Not got time tonight though

The games region may be an issue if the codes are not for the same region as the game or vice versa then the codes will not work
