Default I just downloaded Chrono Cross Disc 1, now how do I get it to work?

I'm using ePSXe, and I've configured it and everything. It's just that I have no idea how to get Chrono Cross to run. please help.

Do you have Petes Plugins for OpenGL?

What exactly is the problem? Anyway, for every problem you have, you can always try to read the help for epsxe, may be it's listened there.

Burn it as an image and play it with an emu or on your psx

I have the emulator configured, but when I try to load the disc, nothing happens.

This might sounds stupid but do you have bios inside your epsxe dir?

    They are hot, aren't they??

It could be any number of things.

You have to give us more detail in order to help you.

yeah, make sure you have a bios image. and instead of burning the image to a disk you can also play it as an iso but then it stays on your hard drive. If your still having trouble maybe you could list some system specs.

Yes the bios are in the right place, and I have the plugins as well. Is it easier if I burn the disc to CD first, like you said?

Also, when I start the iso. it goes
    Init ISO code...ok
    NTSC cdrom detected.
    Doing init gpu[0]...
    Gpu open[0]...
    Direct input init ok.
    Init core spu...ok

then it stops. It never goes past that.

I find both methods easy. just click file, run iso and tell it where the ISO is. That's how you do it from an iso. Or you can use daemon tools and play it like a burned cd only better.
I know you said you already configured your plugins but just in case there is a config that is causing you trouble somehow, this is what I use for chrono cross.

I set my video settings to the same as yours, but it still didn't work. Here are my stats (at least the ones I know of)

    Geforce 2
    128 ram
    450 mhz

I would use VGA if I were you becuase I have an older computer with similar settings. Plus VGA has better compatibility.
PM me if you want VGA.

Ummm, do you mean VGS? I don't think I have heard of a VGA. I only mention it because you said it that way a couple times so I doubt it's a typo. hmmm, although it wouldn't suprise me terribly if there was something called VGA that I hadn't heard of.

Looks like a problem with the discs...Did u download the iso or do you make one out of your original disc? And what program did u use to make the iso?

    They are hot, aren't they??
