Need help with ePSXe 2.0.5

i'm having some serious problems running this thing. I've already got the bios, the plugins, all that good s***, but i still can't make it work. can someone please help me out here?

I don't want fancy graphics, i just want as close to 1-1 emulation as I can get. with the option to stretch the image to full screen of course.

Retroarch might be less messing around.
Warrior knows a fair bit about Retroarch so maybe PM him if you want some help...that is if you want to check it out.

Currently, i can't play any games on it. I get a black screen and that's it. sometimes an error message saying that it has stopped, but that's it.

also, i'm willing to use a different emulator. I'll look into Retroarch.

If 1:1 is what you want you sure are not going to get it from epsxe.

Feel free to PM me and il be happy to assist you setting up RetroArch, you have a controller right?
