    Default BIN to ISO

Hi, in case of 1 data track, can i throw away cue and convert bin to iso? Don't care burning.
Mounted 1 data track/multiple audio tracks game and dumped a bin/cue pair. Now have 1 bin and cue contains the same metadata about tracks as before, but tracks are not splitted between files. So, it remains 1 data track/multiple audio tracks anyway. What can i do to end with only 1 data track with these games (since ISO supports only 1 track)?

    Why iso?
You shouldn't do that to PSX games, keep them bin/cue format or if they're dumped as img/ccd/sub that's ok too.
If you're talking about PS2 then you can convert some CD based games to DVD, so you would start with CD bin/cue dump but end up with DVD iso.

Less subfolders: Folder\ISOs instead of Folder\Game\bin/cue pair.
They are PSX games, sorry didn't say. All use bin/cue format.

Keep them that way. You'll end up destroying a game if you convert to iso, maybe they will run but you will get missing audio in-game and crap like that.
General rule is iso destroys the disc structure.

For the "1 track only" limitation, right?
Plus noticed that this way of dumping rips is the de facto of redump community. Still don't catch why they split audio tracks in multiple files instead of having only one bin with multiple tracks btw.

I'm not knowledgeable about the technical specs, but I think PSX CD uses XA Mode 2.

It won't hurt you to have 2 files instead of one for each game, it will hurt you if you try to convert everything to iso.
And if you can't convert everything then why bother converting anything at all?

You can convert redump multi bin to single bin/cue for emulators, also needed for PS3 if you're running CFW (just another form of emulation but an official type).

    In cue have Mode2/2352.

Yeah, understood the reason. I will adopt the standard then, thanks for your willingness.
Hope someone knows the reason behind the splitting of audio tracks in multiple files, since i will use the pair.

Yeah I dunno why redump does that, I mean they could've gone for img/ccd/sub but maybe they didn't want to use clone cd format? idk
I use redump and renascene to check for info about game ID, languages and scene release names but that's about it. Occasionally I look up info about PSX copy protection if someone on here is asking questions but I don't care about it myself...I have 2 stealth chipped PSX consoles and cp isn't a problem running backups on PS3 CFW afaik (well, I haven't encountered any issues).

Anyway redump isn't a big deal really, at least you know you're getting a good dump to use as source.
