I prefer the cartoon. Jackson went overboard.

WHAT is that function that you get 1millisecond to press when the alien comes up? Hold breath or something? XD Never been able to use it because the game is like "You hid in a locker? Awww, bless! wanna save yours-OOP nope fuck you alien rape time AGAIN!"

"Journalists". That said there are some good honest reviewers out there still I'm sure. I really dig old PC magazine game reviews generally.

There was also the whole initial "Ripley is DLC" BS.
Who fucking cares. It's a great game and was well worthy of a sequel, more worthy than a lot of other crap that gets sequels anyway.

All my best runs didn't involve lockers or holding my breath

I can mod Oblivion, Fallout 3 & NV on PS3 easy enough though, just can't do anything ridiculous on the gfx enhancement side of things because the hardware is too weak.
Skyrim is doable too but I haven't bothered as I have SE on current gen, I'll wait until I have an Xbone so I can actually use external assets
Not going out of your way to avoid playing it on PC works too .

There is a great english guy called Charlie Brooker, ex-games journalist turned satirist with an amazing sense of humour. If you find some old reviews by him they are damn good and damn funny (he also used to crank call people...did a great one back in 1998 of calling rockstar and saying his son has locked him in his room and is threatning to go on a rampage over GTA XD)

If it was in old UK game mags it seems unlikely. Though they could be archived online now.
