as for CL I was just checking prices I'd rather buy from a shop that at least gives me a month warranty than to buy one without any.

EB actually only state a 3 month warranty on used consoles but due to the wording of consumer law, especially regarding goods such as electronics, they can be pushed to 12 months with little effort. For new stuff you can push beyond standard manufacturer warranties.
