At a place I used to work, they hired an Indian woman straight off the boat, not lived in England longer than a month. She had never seen snow, and when it did snow, she was stood out in it, mouth open, snow on her tongue, totally mesmerised. After a week the novelty wore off, and she never stopped complaining about the cold.
