You can create a bin/cue image directly from img/ccd? No burning or mounting an image to convert?
I think I've only ever used the create image from files option to rebuild a DVD video disc that was ripped to folders/files structure.

That isn't dirt cheap man, they might just be cheap drives anyway...and they might've been heavily used for a few years.
4TB Seagate in an external enclosure new is around $140 or something like that.

Even Poweriso can do this. No mounting - unless it does so internally in the process

Yeah looks iffy. They have brand new ones at Best Buy for about the same. People get way to greedy posting ads.

If they're free that's fine, or like if you get them thrown in as part of a bulk deal of other stuff like a sweetener of sorts, also obviously if they're already in PCs or consoles you take them 'cos you need them there

But yeah don't go spending good money on used bare drives.

I haven't gone near any software like that for years because of malware etc and also some of those progs like to break PSX image structure.
The swearing wasn't directed at you personally this time.

I have the full retail program thingum. Nothing wrong with it in that regard. Great for installing PC game iso's. Don't use it for anything else

If you're just dealing with iso images there are free progs out there like SlySoft Virtual CloneDrive.

I took a look at it looks like it only converts from bin/cue img/ccd to iso not to bin/cue or i,g/ccd. it's been a while since I last used it to convert and the last time I did it was a ps2 cd bin/cue to iso.
    I'd recommend checking iso buster.

Yeah I haven't ripped PSX for a very long time, but I have ripped PS2 on PC a few times more recently and I've ripped several PS3 games on my modded console.
My issue atm is I need bin/cue format PSX for my PS3, redump is multi bin iirc and some shares I see are CloneCD.
I might just end up getting what I need from a redump torrent, but yeah I think I'll need to convert.
