    Gatchaman Crowds is pretty incredible.

You'd expect it to be like the original show with punching and murder, but it's more like a very long political essay with a bunch of queer people and a talking alien panda. It's also right about basically everything to a scary extent, cultivating with the entire second season examining and showing the horrific ends of following trending norms on a national level and comparing that to 1930s Imperial Japan's warmongering.

I've been borrowing a lot of Gundam from my brother lately. When I was younger, I didn't like mech anime at all but that has changed. I also just finished the 5th Spice & Wolf novel last night. I don't know what took me so long since I have owned half of the series for years...just collecting dust.

There are like 4 or 5 illustrations in each book.
Only books 1,2,3 and 5 were used in the anime (and possibly a side story from book 7). Everything else is new content.

Let me know how it ends . Unless the manga covers it?

I also recently read some books that had been sitting on a shelf for years. I'm sad there aren't more .

Welp went upstairs and bellowed as loud as I could "Stop banging on the fucking floor"

Seems to have worked. Do people not realize I have keys to everything and could be a dick and shut off someones power or something?

I tried years ago and couldn't get into it. Too much describing pointless crap and focusing on characters that don't matter.

No books for me because of the endless hell that is finally getting into WRPGs.

Sorta. Not as bad as Game of Thrones though. And yeah I get the overly descriptive part. The last 3 books are better for this since it was a different writer.

The series lulls a bit during the middle books, but believe me when I say a lot of those pointless characters end up having a point, some you may not read about until half a dozen books later but things wrap up nicely in the last book or 2.

idk if the manga covers it. I do own the first volume of it, though I never read manga. ... er ... except when I do. Anyhow, volume one only seemed to cover most of the first novel. So there would/will end up being a lot more issues of the manga than the novels. After a quick wiki ctrl+f, the two don't even meet Norah until manga 4, but she is introduced in novel 2!

I don't know exactly how it ends, though I have come across many spoilers. In fact Hasekura-san has begun to write a sequel series that takes place after the last S&W novel. If you don't want the same spoilers, don't look at the book on amazon.

More books in general or more books in-line with the ones you've just read?

    Spoilerazon joins Spoileripedia .

The series I was referring to. Only five books got published for it and I have all but one.
