And by masterpiece I mean it's funny and like a solid 6.5-7/10 movie.

Doctor Who has well over 800 episodes but some of the early ones simply don't exist, they have been reconstructing some of the missing ones though.
Star Trek is less than 800 total

I was finally able to crawl out from under my rock. I might actually have enough free time to boot up a video game.

It's a derpy parody so you really have to watch it with that in mind. If you don't like those kind of movies then definitely don't bother.

Galaxy Quest is a brilliant satire. A culture that can conceive the prime directive and the existence of alien life broadcasting their shows and thereby violating the prime directive, the stars distaste for cons and their fans, the obsessive fans who know every detail, female action hero Sigourney Weaver being reduced to "I have one job on this ship", and pot-head Tony Shalhoub. Far beyond what I expect from Tim Allen.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Do re-watch it, even though it got toned down for family audiences it's still a damn funny movie. Infact if you watch closely you can still see sigourneys mouth say "well fuck that" at the chompers section XD

I am inclined to agree that Galaxy Quest is fantastic. It's biggest fault though is having Tim Allen in it.
