Screen was completely destroyed so it isn't worth fixing really.

I had one of them. Accidently dropped it into a bucket of water when i had a job was only in there for a second but enough to fuck it. Still turns on but when you try to swipe the screen to open it, it just turns it all off now (and has a crack down the back :/). Im now using some weird chinese thing blackview or something.

The crack down the back shouldn't be a problem.
Did you ever try a simulated battery pull & reset? If the screen isn't cracked on the bottom 2 layers you might be able to get it working again.
