You definitely should. It's one of the franchises that defined the PS3.

Those games aren't small and can't be stripped down much.
Buying them is probably easier honestly. $5 a game max.

Or get another cheap controller like you have, the wireless ones aren't any better.

There are other options besides Hori pad fps plus but it'll cost more than $50.
that's why I'm looking around. that nyko I looked has a few bad reviews on another site I seen them listed on. the price difference between a used ds3 and a new clone is $15-$20.

I don't remember anything in the original trilogy Maybe there were motion controls but they should've been patched as optional.

The clones are shit, it's worth the extra cost for a good controller.

Did you get a system without a controller? I didn't exactly back read everything.

I remember a sequence or two. It's been awhile since I ran through them though.

    @ Grouch

Maybe Hori pad 3 is an option?
Controls layout is more like traditional Sony. It should be cheaper than fps plus.

Looks like lots of Hori options for PS3 for $30 or less shipped. But from Japan so it will take awhile. Should be cheaper than a legit DS3 though.

Ah ok, yeah Drake's Fortune has motion controls that don't have alt controls. Remastered version is patched but maybe they didn't bother doing the original.
Not having alt controls is the dumbest thing ever.

There seem to be quite a few hori pad 3 variants, some are wireless and some aren't. They all look like sony layout, the PS3 versions anyway.

Pad 3 Gem might be ok too (if you don't mind it being lit up ) but you'll need to look into the specs of all these.
    Prices don't seem stupid anyway.
