I think it means it has multiple language's but im not sure i only use us

Maybe it means the game has the same data across all regions? Though it seems like only Genesis/Mega Drive ROMs have that

iirc (world) means that version has no region lock or...something.

if you happen to see this, ragnar. might you be able/willing to update that old post to include (world) somewhere in it? all i see with the word "world" mentioned is "(F) World (Genesis)" but that's probably something else.
