Help me please? (emulating Apocalypse (PSX))

I am completely new to this emulator business. I am trying to download 'Apocalypse' from the PS1 days as its an old childhood game of mine, I have got an emulator but when I launch it and try to find the game to run it it is not there in the folder i put it in, I do not know what to do. Help me lol

What's the file extension? is it still zipped? You may just have to decompress it.

The actual game file isn't, is there a certain app I should I run it/open it with? Im using wnidows 10.

also, the game file is a 7Z file if that helps. And the emulator im using is ePSXe205.

7Z is a kind of zip file (7zip) grab it for free and decompress and you should end up with a bin file.

PSX games are usually in BIN format with a CUE file next to them. Have you extracted the 7z archive, and if so, is the PSX image a BIN file?
