The NES game? That'd have to be some sort of false positive your antivirus is throwing out. If you want somebody to double check you should link to the specific file you're looking at.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

One: thanks for your wii uploads and 2: i mean the n64 emulator not the NES game.

If it's not from here, nothing we can do.

I would recommend the latest PJ64 though, it probably is the best. Just google it and go to their site for the latest version.

Probably a false positive like Ragnar said. Everything should be safe here hosted by the site itself. Our emulation section as far as I know isn't very updated anyway. No idea about adware in pj64. I've had no problems with it though. They do want you to purchase an activation code or something when you run the program now though - but after a few seconds the continue button will become selectable and it will work without. Just have to wait a few ticks.

Some things do generate false positives. I'll take a look.

Just tested it with VirusTotal. Has a 1/63 detection ratio so I'd say it's a false positive:
    https://www.virustotal.com/#/url/c96...42e0/detection

For reference, a file with a real trojan or virus would actually have a higher hit rate (25/63 or 30... or higher).
