The game Armadillo on NES. It seems no matter whether I'm using the japanese version or the translated version and no matter what emulator I use, it just gives me a black screen or closes the emulator.

Only real issue is the Battle Box hardware that is not emulated but that was just a memcard of sorts for in-game saves, so just use save states
The translation readme is worth a look through as there is a random but at the end of the game it seems
