Default pcsx2 Devil May Cry (USA) crash problem

Hi there guys, I was hoping that someone would be able to help me with this issue I've been experiencing.

Basically, in the second mission of Devil May Cry, after using the rusty key to access what seems to be a small courtyard with a fountain the emulator crashes and I cant progress any further.

The game runs perfectly fine and this is the only instance of a bug that I've encountered so far.

I saw a few suggestions about disabling speed hacks which I did but the problem persists.

    Thanks in advance!

    Here's my system specs:

    Operating System
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
    CPU
    Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40GHz 62 °C
    Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology
    RAM
    16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz (11-11-11-28)
    Motherboard
    Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z77-D3H (Intel Core i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz) 36 °C
    Graphics
    BenQ GL2450H (1920x1080@60Hz)
    2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (Gigabyte) 34 °C
    Storage
931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-00KUWA0 ATA Device (SATA) 35 °C
    Optical Drives
    TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224DB ATA Device
    Audio
NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)

https://pcsx2.net/compatibility-list.html is the best place to start

This will let you look at settings pages and a wiki pages for whatever game you have issues with, best to look at the settings page first (it's actually the official forum it takes you to)

    Gamefixes Used:

    Delay VIF1 stalls
Ignore bus direction on Path3 transfer

    Bugs:

IPU's are very buggy and can hang in an instant. Getting past intro screens to the menu and ingame is random. Sometimes it makes it, sometimes it doesn't Had to use a couple fixes to get past the warning screen.
Hope the above is of some help

P.S. when changing settings you can not load a save state as that would revert any changes so you must continue from a memory card type save (normal in-game saving)

If the bit you are up to normally triggers and FMV scene you may need to tap select (do this repeatedly until the game continues) to skip the FMV scene
