ds rom multiples

When I come across a DS Rom with multiple links, which one is the latest one?

At first I thought it was whichever one was at the top of the multiples, but I've noticed all of the roms has a DS release number, and sometimes the higher number release, isn't the top one.

So is the higher release number the most recent rom?

as with any numbered dumped set of rom

release 0001 is the first (correct) DS dump the higher the release number the later/newer the release is

there are very few duplicated roms in the DS set though most are just different language/regional releases but some do have bug fixes ect so still best to look at the later ones
