What is the file type of the game? What emulator are you using? What are you clicking in the menu to try to run the game?

Use a different emulator the game has no copy protection that I know of only a EDC so you may just have a bad dump if that is effecting things

I run the ridge racer on psxfin i get the cd not usable failed to open file how to fix it

Are you burning to CD?
It sounds like you are burning the games to CD but not doing this correctly or using really bad media
Especially if you get the same with ridge racer that has zero protection of any kind not even EDC
P.S. the emulators you are using are rather out of date though Ridge Racer should work with anything regardless

well looks like your doing something wrong on your end it should not say anything about none Playstation CD's unless the actual image is not a Playstation CD image maybe you have not extracted it correctly to start with???
what exact files do you have for the game including there file extensions

yeah that is not a disc image on it's own it is basically a text file, you should have one or more other files to go with the cue file
