can't expand the ROM column in MAMEUI64

see how the ROM list shows the "Machine" names with the part (source?) to the right of that cut off? well, if i click and drag the edge of that column to expand it to the right it won't let me. it only drags to the left and shrinks the column. sorry if i'm not explaining it very well.

um...this might help explain the problem i'm having.

in the 2nd pic, it's the space that shows the ROM names that i need help with as i can't expand it to see all the ROM related info properly. it only shows that narrow view where you have to scroll left and right to see everything. and no, i haven't always had this problem. it seems to be something that came up in more recent versions... i think it first started when i had version 0.186.

It's a known bug but not fixed

If you change the shape of the gui it tends to fix it or make it worse, depending on what way you go

Try using the official 64 bit MAME build (rename it to MAME.exe if needs be) and use IV/Play instead done by the same guys as MAMEUI and has exactly the same features

There's a workaround for the problem. It assumes you are starting with a new installation. You can simulate this by deleting mameui.ini. Then...

3. Splitters turn the screen into mush on a new install - this is confirmed but not fixed yet. But there is a workaround.
Start MESSUI/MAMEUI. Drag out the bottom-right corner to expand it to the desired size (even though it looks like crap). Close it. Open it. Now you can adjust the splitters and it will look ok. Close it again to save the settings. Next time you open it, everything will be fine.

ok... that's weird.

and no deletion of the .ini file needed. you just have to follow those steps is all.
