Default PSP-1000 emulator problem with Masterboy 2.10

I just installed CFW 6.61-Pro-C2 on my PSP-1000.

I also install some emus but the problem I'm having is when I start any of them up they are already going at over 200% speed, really fast, so I can't change anything. I was wondering if thier was something on my PSP I needed to change or can it only be done in-emulator.

    Specs- PSP-1000 6.61
    Masterboy 2.10
CFW 6.61-Pro-C2 - have it permanently set

    Thanks Ashley W

    Thread moved.

6.60 PRO-C2 has broken PSOne Classics support I dunno why anyone would mod that to a 6.61 version
Any 6.61 variant of CFW is superfluous afaik. 6.61 isn't needed for any games it was just a last update for online stuff (probably just the store in fact).

Went ahead and downgraded to 6.60 and the same thing happens. What am I doing wrong or do I need to go down to 6.20 for it to work??

Probably doesn't have have anything to do with your CFW at all. My comment about PRO-C2 was just that it's broken.
If you want to use PRO then use 6.60 PRO-C fix3.

I think the only gameboy stuff I've emulated on PSP myself are a few advance roms.

    Thanks Ashley W
under the misc settings adjust the Z80 speed( I have mine set to 100% and it works fine) you can also try adjusting the psp clock speed and frame skip under the synchronization menu.

So I check all of those things and nothing changed. The menu is still wacking and spinning round and round at 200%. Thanks though.
