Has anybody tried the emulator PPSSPP how well does it work ?

I'm not in a position to try it myself but some of the video's I've seen the frame rate seems low but that could be just that guys PC. I just want to know do most games work well and do the games look better then they did on the PSP and can the res be upscaled ? I'm hoping that it's close to as good as PCSX2. Also how are the requirements are they about the same as PCSX2 ? I also wanted to use controller too.

Any try MGS: Peace Walker by chance ?

Haven't tried mgs (I believe it's fine though) myself but have tested out a dozen or so. If you have a decent pc it runs pretty well. Mine is pretty low end and could still run quite a few things. Requirements aren't quite as bad as pcsx2 generally speaking. Like everything else it is game dependent - simple jrpg would probably run much better than a more 3d rendered game like God of War for example. And the list of fully functional titles is quite high. And yup you can increase the internal resolution as well. A ton of progress has been made with this emulator over the years.

Worth a look anyhow.
