Default PC Engine CD: 4 in 1 Super CD romset that works with retro pie?

I can't find one that works with retropie. The ones here won't load up, despite me altering the CUE files to remove the uppercase ".BIN" in the text. Not sure what's wrong with them. Would love to place some Gates of Thunder.

No idea about retropie but there are two copies of this on our servers maybe one was broken, so try the other copy

though if you removed the .BIN text from the cue file you will of just broken it

I tried both of them and they don't run for me. I edited the cue file as well so that's not the issue.

I don't understand why you would remove .BIN from the cue file I would of thought doing that would make it just not work because it is looking for a file with .bin on the end so removing that it can't find the file and never work

I should be more precise with my language. I removed ".BIN" and replaced it with ".bin". My understanding is that case matters. Regardless, either with ".BIN" or ".bin" it doesn't work. I don't think it's user era, as I have other PC Engine CD romsets that run. I'm not a super user, but I somewhat know what I'm doing.

RESOLVED!!! I found a romset off these forums that works!!! Huzzah!

Well, at least a romset for Gate of Thunder, but not the 4 in 1. But all I really wanted was Gate of Thunder anyway. So all ends well.

Is the original Jap version not included? (it's the game on it's own rather that the 4 in 1 disc)

P.S. if that is a full RetroPie set it may just be that the 4 in 1 disc is not supported

Yeah the romset I found that works is the Japanese version. I played through it tonight already. I was too excited.

I tried several different romsets for the 4in1 and never found one that worked so perhaps it is not supported. I don't know.
