    NOPE.

I've had a rom for years anyway.

    No because

    1) The SNES Mini will sell out even before it goes on sale because Nintendo is kind of terrible about this sort of thing

    2) This is a ROM site

I'm honestly confused by why Mother 3 fans want an official release to this day, while we're on the topic. The fan translation is superb.

I'm not all that hyped. I mean it will be interested to see how this differs from the beta rom. I hear this is supposed to be the actual final build of the game. I doubt much if any will be changed though. I also think the snes-mini could have packed more games into it. Like having all the DKC games instead of just the first one.

Subjectively. If it's a finished version, and not simply a rom Nintendo downloaded from the internet.

Quite frankly, the Starfox 2 beta is kinda shit. It's interesting as a beta, but not something for mainstream consumption
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

IMO, it would be nice to try the finished game... if its not a downloaded rom! But it won't make me buy this device: I would wait for the rom to be dumped to load it with my Raspberry.

if it's just what I've played, then no. If it's some finished version, then it'll get ripped from the shitty scalper feeding machine soon enough and leaked onto the internet and I can play it anyway.

The way things are atm it may not be leaked anywhere like here.
Torrents or newsgroups yeah, but any other sharing methods besides that will draw the kind of attention sites like this don't want.

nope, because this SNES rerelease BS is precisely why all those franchises got nuked from this and many other websites. mario, f-zero, metroid, zelda, pokemon, etc. all gone because of this shit.

I've played SF 1 for a while and honestly, I think that either my ROM is screwed or the game failed miserably on his pseudo-3D attempt. SF wasn't supposed to be a SNES game but a 64 (I own the 64 version and that one is a huge game). So I'm kinda "meh" with SF 2 release. Also, Nintendo abandoned brazilian market and my guess is that we will have to pay 7 reais for each dolar united stadians will pay. I used to be a great fan of Nintendo, but they forsake brazilian market and now thir prices are ridiculous high here in Brazil.

Also, SNES Mini doesn't support a SD Card, so you will have to stick with that limited collection (where's Street Fighter 2? Chronno Trigger?). The new Mega Drive fabricated here in Brazil by Tec Toy, in the other hand costs R$ 445,00. Same price as SNES I guess, but the difference here is that Mega Drive supports ROMs as it have a SD Card attached to it. In other words, you can have all MD game collection for a reasonable price and with great advantages (tough it video is via AVI, I suppose it worth the money spent).

IMO it's only a merchandise play to make sells high.

I'm actually more hyped for the other games on the SNES mini instead of StarFox 2. Even though I own/used to own alot of them I want to play them again. Always thought Star Fox 1 was okay but not really excited for SF2.

Why do people still trust this yakuza run death box? XD Gunpei Yokoi nintendo, Gunpei Yokoi...(oh and FYI it was miyamoto that got SF2 canceled out of jealousy and most people, like dead said, have played it since ATLEAST 1999, there is no hype here XD).
