Sly Cooper 2/General help PS2

I'm having a lot of trouble getting any game (but specifically this one), can someone post a list of intructions for PS2 emulation? Thank you in advance.

Sly is a 3d platformer iirc and those can be pretty demanding hardware wise.

What's your cpu/gpu etc??

Only thing I can really think of without specifics is to enable speed hacks and click everything on except for fast cd spin and move the sliders all the way to the right and hope it doesn't break the game.

Standard stuff like leaving the internal resolution at native and possibly trying different render modes like d3d11/opengl or even software mode can help.
