    Default Malicious ads

I've been using EP for a long while, it's an exceptionally useful site. To contribute I disabled my adblocker, as is only fair. But recently I was redirected to this site.
I've been fine with the majority of the ads, no matter how gawdy or scammy they look, but this was an outright attempt at infecting my computer. Could at least something be done about that ad in particular? I enjoy using the site and I'm happy to contribute with ad revenue, but not when it puts my computer at risk.

Do you remember what page URL you were on when this happened?

I was on the homepage and clicked the Latest Updates section. So it was either one of those pages.

Ok, thanks for that info. I'm going to try and replicate the issue and block the advertiser who's pulling this stupidity. One thing that'll help is to know which country you're in?

I've never seen a malicious ad here. I've seen some mildly annoying ads and had to watch those corny 'captcha' videos, though.

What exactly does the premium membership entail?

I looked into this but couldn't replicate the issue. I've alerted our advertisers and it might be that they already blocked the malicious ad. Do please let me know if anything like this happens again. We only deal with reputable advertisers so instances like this are rare but sometimes there's a bad actor in the network and we need to block it.

P.S. This is a fake firefox update it's removed from a anti-malware program (ex: malwarebytes, adwcleaner, hitman pro and zemana)

ive been to some pretty shiesty looking download pages too in the emulator section for the downloads so that would be a nice fix for this site as well, it kind of deterred me away from this site in the first place, made me think this site was not safe.
