    Unfortunately with a plugin based emulator the "best" settings are per-game and also depend on your hardware. The site linked above will give you a good starting point.

    Skullpoker is right.

    Generally speaking if you have a halfway decent machine and can handle it 2x native resolution is the way to go. That will give you a 720p "feeling" for most games. Personally I won't play it less than that or I would just use my ps2.

    And if you have the best pc ever made max everything out and hope it doesn't explode
