I can't vouch for whatever source you want to use where you are. I'm sorry but I've always used suppliers I trust for media, mostly irl.
Few exceptions are (example) like when I took a gamble on some cheap spindles that turned up at work etc...which were either free or cost virtually nothing so no great risk.

    Spoiler warning:

Should burn from the cue file too, especially with symphony of the night iirc.

I was just reading on this forum about the best cd-rs for burning psx games, and this guy said "So since AZO is prefered I recommend Verbatim DataLifePlus CD-R 48-52X, not just the DataLife as these are crap CMC made...".
    Should I try those out??

It can't hurt to try anything. What exactly works on your specific PS1 may not be identical somebody else's recommendations. Just don't buy a lot.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

I was just scrolling through websites and saw the Verbatim DataLifePlus 700 MB 52x cd-rs, and in the description, it says something about that the cd's are (i think) manufactured by this Japanese company called MKM (Mitsubishi Kagaku Media). Do these cd's sound reasonable to buy?

    They seem reasonable enough.
