I've have had this ongoing issue of getting badly pixelated graphics on all my emulators ever since I upgraded to Windows 8. I had been using emulators for NES, SNES, Genesis, SMS, Gameboy and MAME for years and interpolation worked perfectly on all of them. But for some reason once I went to Windows 8, they all displayed with no interpolation and no matter what I did they would always display pixelated.

I discovered a trick to somehow force interpolation on a few of them by Alt+Tabbing out of fullscreen mode and reentering but this doesn't work for everything I use. I have researched this a lot and tried so many things relating to graphics card settings , display settings and directx configurations and everything I try does nothing to change the initial pixelated display of the emulators. Does anyone know how I can retain interpolation without windows or whatever it is overriding it?

Thanks.
