There are 2 different CDI rips of D2 (US) on the main site.
GDI dump is there too so if you want a different rip you can make one yourself.

    Spoiler warning:

DCHQ's rip goes from the 4 GD-Roms to 8 700MB CD-R's, it's a bit of a killer considering how short the game actually is, bad enough it was on 4 discs never-mind on 8

Thought about just getting a "USB-GDROM"? not cheap but at the end of the day they play everything from a USB HDD or USB stick and you get to keep the original GD-Rom quality
There is also a SD GD-Rom replacement GD-Emu it's called that is a bit cheaper but not by much (I don't want to put the product down too much but the other one is worth the extra you pay for it)

The above is not to be confused with the SD card mod/reader via the data connection at the back of the Dreamcast (That is a slow port, too slow to play most games from at full speed, most will lag or have very slow load times if they run at all)

I know I don't have time to work on and test rips out now

You could always try doing your own rips though with the help of a basic kit by Family Guy or use the old method mixed with newer apps that is what I used to do as Family Guy's kit did not support CDDA tracks but taking part of his kit and adding my own bits to it I could still make CDDA enabled CD rips but I am talking about a while back and do not remember the exacts of how I done this myself.

The GD-Rom drive can not read mini DVD's

GD-Rom tech was prior to DVD tech and is not interchangeable

mini CD's on a Dreamcast maybe but the Dreamcast GD-Rom drive again can not read DVD media and the Dreamcast is nothing like a GameCube it uses full size media to start with and does not require mini anything

    No such program as
    "GD to cdi converting"
    or even
    "GD to cdi"

I already mentioned Family Guy but his little kit does not support the required CDDA tracks for the games in question it only works for games that did not use CDDA tracks

plus the games are too big for a standard CD so would require a bit of ripping or down sampling before rebuilding back to a CD

You can extract the GDi content with the kit but you will need to rebuild a CD image using external tools after you have ripped/down-sampled whatever you are willing to sacrifice, but it gets complicated and not just the ripping down-sampling part either
