I got rid of my original Uncharteds when I upgraded to PS4 remaster set, but then got Uncharted 1 PS3 Asian version cheap on a whim.
Turns out it's the only game of the trilogy that can't be injected so good that I got it again. 2&3. Those games are pretty big Also TLoU, and there are some other largish games like Heavenly Sword Even GTA V is more than 15GB iirc.
Some games can be shaved down in size a bit though by removing alt language stuff.

You don't need CFW and you don't even need IDPS.
Of course you can't inject the whole library, some disc games don't have updates so can't be injected. Some might have an update that requires OFW above 4.70 so no go either.
But it isn't just disc games that can be injected...there are C00 unlocks, PSN, minis, PSOne Classics, PSP and even some DLC for games.
