Yeah I play PC and consoles, I have no issue doing either. It's just fun giving DL shit over that comment.

I have a Gigabyte motherboard here in my desktop that is about 7 years old. That rig wouldn't be able to run much in the way of recent games.

    Spoiler warning:

Depends on what it is. The i5 2500K and to a lesser extent the i7 2600K are starting to get aged but they can still run newer games fairly well. Slap a decent GPU with one of those and you're pretty much set.

What, the whole business of upgrading hardware all the time becomes boring after a decade or two comment?
It's true though. Plenty of people I know were playing PC games all the time at least 10-15 years ago but don't now.

    Most of them have families.

It's about 7 years old and only has a dual core CPU. I've had it for a while but it cost me nothing.
Spent nothing on it. It isn't worth anything.
It doesn't even have a graphics card.

But new it would've been worth more than a PS3.

Don't forget that the PS3 launched at $500 - $600. If someone paid more than than for a dual core setup with no GPU in it in 2010 they're a sucker.
