Large bugs here aren't dangerous. Some of the small spiders are, and there are some snakes...but these things don't seek out humans and attack them.
It's only the odd shark and big crocs up north that really like to kill people.

I've never had any potentially fatal bites or stings from anything here in over 40 years Some people are really stupid though and easily end up in trouble.

Spent a lot of time camping out in the bush over the years but I haven't been out for a little while now. I do go out collecting wood a lot though, so I do see spiders and snakes all the time.
