THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

Actually this one seems pretty good. Dunno what it is but the clarity of songs are even better. Not saying much over the Win media player though I suppose.

    which program?

in Audacious if you use the Crystalizer plugin it gets nice and clear instead of sounding like its being dragged through the mud.

is this being streamed through a free service or a paid one? I'm just curios.

I'm not sure. I did read that in the US it's paid, but elsewhere had ep 1&2 on netflix, also Canada had it on Space I think. Dunno if it's still freely available from ep 3 onwards though

I don't watch tv or use any kind of streaming service.

You can get various downloads of it, up to 1080p with full 5.1 audio. But if you want something smaller but still ok quality there are 720p CBS rips with 2 channel audio.

Foobar2K is worth a try if you end up disliking that for some reason or another.

It has a very utilitarian interface. There are a lot of plugins for it though.

Yeah the double episode opener was network and affiliates sorta deal. Maybe to try to hook people in. From then on it's supposed to be that All Access thingum of theirs.
