Strange. I see Dell, Acer and even Benq monitors at work. The prices we put on them are very reasonable.
Hell even sub 32" lcd tv's that are 1080p have ok prices...if you aren't hardcore gaming on PC a tv should be ok (refresh rate wouldn't be as good as a monitor).

Better off avoiding using a TV as a monitor unless it's the only option.

It could be completely avoided by leaving the old UI for users that want it .

@Deadlegion Circling back a couple days to Destiny 2 microtransactions, I forgot to mention something.

So in Destiny 2 you pay money for Silver, to buy Bright Engrams (loot boxes)
You also can earn Bright Engrams from leveling up again once already max level.
Each week (rotates each week), the vendor also sells a few of the items possible in Bright Engrams straight up for a currency called Bright Dust.
Bright Dust is obtained from dismantling items obtained in Bright Engrams, or when opening Bright Engrams you can sometimes get a bunch of Bright Dust.

I'm fine with loot boxes if the stuff in the boxes do not affect gameplay.
Like for League, everything is cosmetic.
Never played Overwatch but I'm pretty sure that is also pure cosmetic.
Destiny has like one armor set, but there are like 3 other sets with the same stats so unless you like the look, doesn't matter. Rest is all cosmetic.

People are mad at Battlefront because it has the same loot system as crappy mobile games.

I don't think they have a place, in any form, in full price games. If they wanted to make them available for individual purchase it wouldn't bother me overly much. Pushing a real money gambling aspect is a despicable practice and deserves to be regulated and taxed if not stamped out entirely.

Everything in League can be bought separately. They did introduce like 3 skins for champions that are exclusive to the loot system, but they aren't good skins IMO. League is also Free to Play though.

You also get free boxes in League. They have a grade system after each game, and if you earn an S on it, you get a free chest, 1 per champion. You also have to get the keys, but you just get them from playing.
