The bike I am looking at seems to have a straight pipe, but it 'might' have a tiny suppressor of some sort at the end. It's hard to tell.

I really like the look of the old bikes like Triumph bikes and the modern Japanese bikes but I never really liked Harleys.

Stock exhaust? Can't you retro fit something? I saw a video on custom piping kits and it didn't seem too difficult, of course you would probably need to borrow a torch.

I'm going for original not custom otherwise I could have gotten exhaust for it already it just would have cost me $250-$500

it really depends some bikes need it to run right because of the back pressure but I think that only applies if you have more than 1 carb or you have a newer bike.

I'm not criticizing anyone here when I say this. harley have become overrated. I have seen far too many people with them and most only buy them because they're something of a symbol and others that are on the "buy american" bandwagon. with that said they are a good bike if you want something "big" and you like riding long distance.
most everybody I know has at least 1 (for various reasons) I chose a different route I chose my bike because I like old bikes it was affordable and it had a smaller motor oh andthe styl eat the time harley's smallest motor was an 883 now they have a 500 and a 750 which is nice but the style they chose kinda sucks, personally I wish they would have went with more of a classic dirt bike frame.
