    Nope again.

Well sorta. Sold a 500gb hdd for 35 that we found outta one of the laptops. That paid for the night

Any idea what it's like hanging with a dude who insists on blasting nothing but 70's rock

Suffice it to say I'm not a big fan although some of that Zappa shit isn't bad. We got nearly 20 years between us so it's not really anyones fault. Although managed to get him to listen to some early nineties shit like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Alice n Chains. It's a start

    Generational gap I suppose.

I was born in 73' so old rock doesn't bother me at all I actually like it. 60's too...but I can't stand The Beach Boys and a few others.
I've been around rock bands my whole life but more cover bands than original stuff tbh.

Soundgarden are alright, Pearl Jam doesn't bother me but I was never a fan. I don't like Nirvana at all really
Around that time I was still clinging onto more traditional type hard rock and some metal.

Not a fan of Nirvana either. '78 over here so grew up on Guns n Roses, N.WA. and of course the secret love of the dude from my profile pic.

And of course the parents listened to the Beatles and the Stones and Alan Parsons and blah blah blah.

I was in EB the other day and there's a new kid working there. Asked him if they had any used Wii U consoles, he says "Yeah maybe I'd have to check. Why bother though just get a Switch it's great, Wii U is old and games are hard to get now"

Guess he's in that one percentile that didn't have Breath of the Wild fuck up on him after the first fifteen minutes

Maybe it won't happen like that, but pray with me.
I listened to a podcast with a guy who siad something similar, that blockchain currencies may lead to a massive upheaval.

But if those financial regulation bodies like the federal reserve lose a lot of their control wouldn't they strongly oppose the growth of cryptocurrencies in order to retain control?

I wouldn't take that if that's Canadian unless you really need the money.

And he said the drive was to much.
Ah, at least you got a reason. A good 450W might be able to handle it under load but that would be pushing it.

The drive was definitely too much. You can get a new 1TB drive for $10 - $15 more.

I'm still using a pissy little 240w psu in my dual core desktop. I think it came out of a Dell build, it's really small so I had to make up an adapter plate from the back panel of a full size psu, drilled some extra holes to attach it

    The RX480 eats around 160W - 170W at stock. Some variants pull around 200 - 220W.
