So I noticed most Nintendo published games got DMCA. Will there ever be a point in which case they can be added back again? I also notice that some of the bigger emulation sites were hit with similar notices. Kinda makes me worried about the future of emulation.

Mainly Nintendo owned stuff and some other random things. There have always been odd DMCA takedowns here, even in forums sections like original Xbox.
People are noticing what's going on atm because Mario etc are missing.
You can still find those games if you go for full sets and/or use torrents (private trackers if you have to) and probably newsgroups too.

As for hacks, well if those can't be found people just need to learn how to do that stuff instead of being spoon fed

Still it sucks. I know there are other places to find the games, just is a bummer since EP was a great place to get those games. It still is. Also, I'm sure you can find the hacks if you look hard enough. I'm not super interested in hacks though.

My neighbour still has that modded xbox with all the sets from n64 on down. Can't even give the thing away. Might borrow it just to copy shit over.

You can do alot with it and its great for hobbyists, loads of possibilities like...............making a tiny as hell emulation box or Media Box.
