    Yeah I only came across the ones I have by accident while I was salvaging sata drives.
    Seems odd using a USB device internally but maybe it was just cheaper that way, also I guess possibly the earlier setups like that had earlier wireless adaptors and then they just swap in a better spec (or even just more reliable and/or cheaper adapter) on the production line to upgrade.

    Welp, salvaged a 500gb drive from another laptop. Might clone everything onto that one and use it for now.

    Oh also found a giant lug nut remover socket wrench set thingy. Looks like it might be for big rigs!!!

    Can prolly get a pretty penny for it.

    Socket sets like that are used for head bolts etc on all sorts of vehicles. Basically anything with a decent bolt head and high torque settings.

    I have some huge ones but I've never worked on trucks.
    The really big ones I've used for crank nuts.

    Welp hdd cloning seems to have gone off without a hitch. Just transfering my shows and movies over to the first hdd.
