    Default Soft-modded Wii emulation issues....

    Hi there,

A bit of a long shot, I have installed a number of different emulators for my Wii (All the most popular ones). The problem I have is when I start playing any rom I have downloaded it seems to work fine for a few minutes and then it doubles in speed at random times when all I'm pressing is the basic buttons. I understand that you can speed things up with a controller but I am not pressing the buttons associated with this option. It may be something simple that I have done but I can not seem to find out why this is happening.

Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated.

    Very odd indeed

I could understand if it was just a single emulator but not all emulators unless you have an issue with your WiiMotes/Pad via a WiiMote maybe

I always used a GC pads myself via the GC port though unless I am playing a light gun game (then I use a WiiMote) but still never had this issue

Is this a controller with a damaged cord? Wrong buttons is a common issue with a short circuit in the wire.

If it's a wireless controller, look for other remotes, cell phones, or other wireless devices that could be interfering with the signal.
