Default PCSXR/ePSXe - Resident Evil 3 black and white FMV and prerendered backgrounds

    Hello, guys.
I'm having a rather peculiar issue with both ePSXe and PCSX Reloaded emulators, specifically with games like Resident Evil and Dino Crisis.

The problem is the FMVs and the prerendered backgrounds are all showing up as glitchy black and white surfaces and I have tried a fresh install of the emulators, different ISO dumps, different graphics plugins, different graphics settings and nothing seems to help me resolve that. In the attachment are some screenshots of the issue from Resident Evil 3 and my Graphics settings.

I would be very thankful if you could help me resolve this issue.

Just to eliminate the possibility: Did you try the default settings and the fast settings of Pete's Plugin?

I did. I even tried reinstalling the drivers for my graphics card.

    Default

internal X / Y set to Very High
Stretching mode: Use what you like
Render Mode: 2 Use framebuffer object

    Texture filter = 2

    FPS limit= 63

    Compatibility=1,3,2

    Shader effects= 1 Fullscreen smoothin

P.S. those are not FMV's by the way, they are not pre rendered movies aka FMV's, as they are rendered live by the PSX, it is possible that just changing the Framebuffer Upload option to 2 should fix that

P.P.S. you can use http://psxdatacenter.com as a guide to setting up each game should you find an issue with your normal setup with certain games, issues are mostly caused by the compatibility settings

The way ePSXe works though there is no one setup that will work with every game

Thank you for your reply, Zorlon.
I tried your settings just now and nothing changed. The FMV and the prerendered backgrounds are still glitchy black and white.

    Okay. Thank you, Zorlon.

Well, I managed to get it working properly on ePSXe with another fresh graphics driver and emulator install and the settings you kindly suggested but now I have another weird problem. The game randomly freezes during screen transitions and once again I can't seem to find a solution for it.
I would very much appreciate further advice.
