the castlevania games are hard to judge cause their both big rpg and action but i guess i would consider it rpg cause you do level up so meh

Hmm.Castlevania could be classified as an action/rpg/adventure.Not much rpg,though.Just its style.

Some Castlevanias weren't RPG-ish at all... But I'd certainly say Symphony and Circle can be partially classed as RPGs, though they are very genre mixing.
