Ico was a very good game that failed to do very well. It's got a sort of cult following, so I guess that would make it a sleeper?

I will have to agree with you... That had little to no hype about it and ended up being one of the best games of the year.

I have to agree with Cyberxion. Ico was what you can call a sleeper. Even though i beat the game in 4:30 hours it was fun! Ended too early though.

    Hum...
Without joking, I may say GGX2, since nobody around me knew about GGX before, then they saw GGX2 was really well ranked. But they aren't in fighting games...

GGX2 became quite popular amongst gamers now!
    Sweet!

Otherwise, nobody I know know about Ico...
But it is a game I truly wanted to play (Ico is said to be weird and poetic, or stuff like that)

May I ask what a "Sleeper hit" is? I'm not familiar with that expression.

Sleeper is like, something that is AWESOME but no one knows about, like cop cars are sleepers. They look slow as **** but they're fast AS HELL. or from dictionary.com
A spy or saboteur who is planted in an enemy country and who lives unobtrusively as a citizen of that country until activated into clandestine operations by a prearranged signal.

It was all over EGM and all the other publications, so I dunno if I agree that it was a Sleeper. Good game? Yeah, it sure was, but not a Sleeper by any means. It was too mainstream for that.

Hmm... I can't think in one on my own right now... but Ico is a good option for this
I've heard that in one electronic expo (don't remember which one), when the people was going to see MGS2, Kojima recomended them to visit the stand of Ico cos it was an awesome game, so it wasn't a sleeper for him

I have to agree with eternal darkness. No one around here knew about that game but it was one of the best. Racthet And Clank was a very good gme but not a sleeper almost every ps2 owner have that game. I can't wait for ratchet and clank 2 and jaz and daxter 2!

I also would of said kingdom hearts since everyone around here are just basing on the disney characters but i know a lot of people have this game also!

Are we talking about last year or this year?
Hmm.. Because some of the games mentioned came out last year.. eh..
BloodRayne comes to mind, it's a neat game that didn't get a whole lot of attention.
And Arx Fatalis also comes to mind as a superb game that is quite unheard of among gamers.
