    Default Retropi PSX bios

Hey everyone. Just needed a bit of help since I have been trying this for days and I cannot get it to work. I built myself a Retropi. Everything is working fine on it so far with one exception. That being Playstation One games. I know a BIOS is needed to get them to run, and I have tried many different BIOS packs from other threads on this site that do not work. I am using RetroPie Manager to upload the BIOSs but everyone I have tried says it is invalid. I need valid ones for SCPH1001.bin, SCPH5500.bin, SCPH5501.bin, and SCPH5502.bin to work with my Retropi. Has anyone got this running correctly, and can maybe link me the files I am needing?

The BIOS file is named SCPH1001.BIN (both name and extension are case-sensitive so MUST be in capitals)

i.e. rename those files so it is all in caps, you may need to change the file name temporally before changing to caps to make sure the change stays as some OS's do not change the case because the file name has not changed just the case changed and will revert back to lower case

That is for the pcsx-rearmed cores

the other ones are for Beetle/Mednafen PSX that use lowercase

    scph5500.bin scph5501.bin scph5502.bin

Unless things have changed RetroPi does not use the Beetle/Mednafen PSX core anyway so you should only need /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/SCPH1001.BIN again it is case sensitive so must be in all caps including the file extension

    Look for another download.
Check the PSX master list in the forums and see if there's a bios pack (there should be but I haven't checked recently).

Thanks all, the bios was accepted this time, managed to transfer 2 out of 6 games, neither work but I think this is down to the .cue files missing, will try using the .cue creator to fix this.
