    Default PS3 Analog Stick Problem

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/291537638016...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Hey. So, I purchased 2 of these USB PS3 controllers and I noticed when I play games like Street Fighter Alpha 3, 3rd Strike, etc., the analog stick will only let me jump straight up and walk back and forward. I did not have this problem with my other PS3 pad (which has died). I know these are cheap controllers. If I can figure out how to make it support angles, that would be sweet.

Best option is to just return it as defective. Cheap knockoff controllers never last no matter how good the price (I am speaking from years and many consoles' worth of experience). It is best to save up for an official used one if price is an issue.

You should check in properties section of your controller config and see if it has a negative x axis. Move it around a little bit. If it does, you should look around for a nice controller mapping application and see if it helps.
