Ultimate MK 3 for MAME doesn't work

MK 2 and 3 are fine

UMK 3 1.2 or 1.1 don't work

MAME last version says it's missing CHD or whatever files

Go grab a gui version of MAME right click the game and hit audit, it will then tell you exactly what is missing and where it looks for it, instead of the silly message that says this game is missing roms or chd that is just not enough to go on

http://www.progettosnaps.net/mameui/ is a basic gui version of MAME just grab the a version that matches the version of MAME you have

Every update of MAME also updates the rom set not just to add new games but to add new rom dumps (most of those game zip files contain tons of roms) and or chd dumps

If you want to do this on your own you can just grab some rom update packs for MAME and hope that is the version of the update you need and use ClrMamePro to update your set from the update pack that will only have the missing roms from the games (hense you can't just copy the update pack over your roms as you would then be missing the roms that did not change at all)

P.S. if 1.2 does not work then 1.1 is not going to either as that uses roms from 1.2 aswell as from 1.1

This is what the GUI is telling me about the 1.2:

umk3 : l2.0_mortal_kombat_3_u2_ultimate.u2 (1048576 bytes) - NEEDS REDUMP
umk3 : 463 MK3 Ultimate.u64 (4105 bytes) - NOT FOUND

The question is: should YOU update that ZIP file available in that link for it to work for everyone or this is to be expected and needs to be fixed by whoever is downloading these files? If the latter is the case, where can I find whatever is needed?

I am using 0.183 and Emuparadise only says MAME 0.181 to 0.182 Update pack

MAME 0.164 ROMs is what we have or atleast that is what it says

You can either use that version of MAME/a version of MAME before the redump was done or you can use all the update packs with clrmameproto to update your roms
