ISO for PSX not working at all

It's not working even if I rename the first file from
Mega Man X3 (E) (Track 01) [SLES-00503].bin.ecm

to Mega Man X3 (E) (Track 01) [SLES-00503].bin

When it opens in the emulator it says NOW LOADING, and keeps loading forever.

Think of that .ecm extension as a ".zip", or ".rar" one: you have to unpack the file by dragging it "into" unecm.exe, first. The required files should be hosted on the main website (look/google for ecm tools).

ilefys is right, don't rename the files. Use ECM to extract the image file (ISO, not ROM).

That's an emulation issue. Read this thread I'm linking you bellow and post again or check a compatibility list like the PSXDatacenter.

BTW, they are called ISOs, not ROMs.
