Default Rom not loading on OpenEmu, help appreciated!

Hi, I downloaded a Nintendo DS rom (more specifically 4273 - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of Sky (US)(XenoPhobia).7z) and copied the file into my OpenEmu emulator (came from this file: OpenEmu_2.0.4.zip). The game's picture seems to load, however when I click the image of the game, I get a notification that says "the emulator could not load ROM". I have tried downloading the other versions of the game as well, and I have tried file 4273 twice, with the same results each time.

For hardware, I run a Mac with a Processor of 1.7 GHz with 2 cores. My system is called MacOS Sierra Version 10.12.1. As for system information, for graphics, I see this: Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB (no idea what it means though lmao) and for memory I see this: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 (again, no clue what that means).

I have next to zero technical experience, but I have wanted to play this game for a long time now, and I would really appreciate any sort of help or input! I'm very new to the world of emulators and will probably require baby steps of guidance, so thanks in advance and sorry for the trouble

Did you try extracting 4273 - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of Sky (US)(XenoPhobia).7z so you have a nds file instead

Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB = very basic Graphics chip with 384 MB ram for video processing

MacOS Sierra Version is just the Operating system

The file doesn't show up as a zip file after I downloaded it, so I'm not really sure what you mean by extracting the file. It just imports automatically to the emulator when I click on it

7z is 7-zip format not zip format and needs 7z extracting software to extract it

    http://www.kekaosx.com/en/ supports extracting 7z format

The game works now! I downloaded the Keka software and extracted the file, and now it opens in my emulator. I have been trying to get a working version of this game for two years, and now I can finally play it! Thank you so much!
