I downloaded all the gameshark isos that EP has to offer and none of them are working on my version of ePSXe.

Another issue I'm having is that I downloaded the SCPH1001.bin and it runs long enough for me to select memory card, but then it freezes and I have to shut down ePSXe.

If this doesn't belong here I apologize.

Side notes you should know Windows XP on a hand me down POS laptop and the ePSXe i'm running is 2.0

There is a way to refurbish bricked GameSharks by desoldering the flash ROMs and flashing them with an inexpensive programmer like this one. (I use the Genius G540 programmer) you can read more here https://github.com/parasyte/n64rd/issues/3

You want to download Playstation Emulator Cheater [PEC], install it, then click on ePSXe.exe and set PEC as the video plugin. Then you can click config in that window to set up your real video plugin. Before you start your game, find your game in the PEC window and select codes, the at the bottom click on Send cheats to plugin, and then run the game as normal.

I did that, it didn't work. And how come the website says my password is too old and won't let me do anything? That's BULL!

I found a website that had cheats for the ePSXe built in game shark that finally worked.

My main issue now is not being able to delete saves off of my memory cards. As I already stated, it freezes once I select memory card.

If you can not delete saves via the boot bios option and you are using the recommended bios image, then just do that externally with almost any PSX PC memcard manager

Not something I use but that is mostly because I use a tool for hacking saves that I use for that kind of stuff but what I use is a fiddle for most so not something I recommend for basic usage

P.S. if you wanted to use PEC then you would also need to downgrade ePSXe as they stopped supporting that plugin

PEC was very handy as it let your search for your own codes, something I done a lot back in the day and made a few custom codes that are not in any database, mostly modding codes rather than simple cheating codes
